Tandridge U8’s at Millwall Academy Tournament
The Tandridge U8’s were invited to attend a half term tournament at Millwall FC’s training ground on Wednesday 18th February. The format was four matches of eight a side on a friendly basis against Kingfisher, Phoenix, Ravens and Millwall Academy.

The boys continued their good form and Fraser Abbott opened the scoring with a neat flick from a Joseph Pickett corner. The lead was extended early in the second half when Harvey Robinson scored following goodwork from Fraser Abbott. Joseph Pickett extended the lead and scored the fourth following a pass from Charlie Dumas before Ravens reduced the arrears. Charlie Dumas scored directly from free-kick to increase the lead and Harvey Robinson scored the sixth goal from a through ball from Fraser Abbott. Ravens scored again to make the score 6-2 and the final goal of the match was an own goal by a Ravens defender from a corner to make the final score 7-2 to Foresters.
Though out the match the defencive pairing of Matt Horlock and Rob Lawerence kept the Ravens at bay.
