Broughton SS 2 vs 5 Flint Town Juniors

Satisfying - Well to be the best you have play the best and beat them. Exactly what we have had to do to get to the league cup final.

Semi Final against Broughton was a good game, but why did we not turn up for half of it, a very slow start, and some of the passing was very poor at times. Last 20 mins of the game Flint decided to play football by passing it around doing what we do best resulting in 3 goals in the last 20mins. Now let’s try and make sure we start all games in future with the same pace and passing of the ball. Yes we conceded but we came back, a convincing win in the end by what was clearly the better team. Well done boys you have earned your place in the final and proved you are the best in the league.  

How many teams where writing Flint of at the beginning of the season?  How many thought Flint where never in the running?

I think it’s fair to say we are back, but not yet back firing on four cylinders but we are getting there. How good will we be when we are firing on all four !

Second place in the league is ours for the taking and Isa are aware we are right behind them.
