History

The Southend Borough Combination was founded in 1920 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The first season of the league consisted of 10 teams, and the inaugural champions were Westcliff United.

The league has grown steadily over the years and currently has 20 teams competing in two divisions. The Premier Division is the top division, and the Division One is the second division.

Current Season

The current season of the Southend Borough Combination began in September 2023 and is scheduled to end in May 2024. The Premier Division is currently led by Ashingdon, while the Division One is led by Southend Collegians.

The league cup competition for the 2023-2024 season is the Southend Borough Combination Challenge Cup. The current holders are Leigh Ramblers.
