The league has been won by a variety of teams over the years, including Southend United Reserves, Southend Amateurs, and Leigh Town.

The 2023-2024 season is currently underway. The Premier Division is currently being led by Ashingdon Youth FC, with Corinthians (Essex) A in second place and Leigh Town A in third place. Division One is being led by Old Southendian A, with Rochford Town Reserves in second place and South Essex United in third place. Division Two is being led by Southend Collegians, with Earls Hall United in second place and Leigh Ramblers A in third place.
