About Empal

Empal

Empal is an amateur football league in Indonesia. It was founded in 2017 and is currently the largest amateur football league in the country. The league has over 100 teams and is divided into several divisions.

History

Empal was founded in 2017 by a group of football enthusiasts who wanted to create a more accessible and affordable way to play the sport. The league was originally called the "Empal Community League" but was renamed to Empal in 2019.

The league has grown rapidly since its inception and now has teams from all over Indonesia. The top teams in the league compete in the Empal Premier League, which is the highest level of competition in the league.

Rules

The rules of Empal are based on the rules of FIFA. However, there are some modifications to the rules to make the game more accessible to amateur players. For example, the offside rule is relaxed and there is no limit on the number of substitutions that can be made.
