Plumtree

Plumtree Football Club was founded over 20 years ago. We played for 18 years in the East Midlands Friendly Football League until we joined the FA EMPAL in Div4 for the 2007/08 season. Since then we have been developing as a team, bringing youth to balance the age and experience. In the first season we were promoted to Div 3, following a fair opening account. In 08/09 we finished mid table after an ok season but it was clear that new blood was needed and a few new faces were brought in. In 09/10 we finished third in Div 3 and were County Cup finalists. In 10/11 we finished runners up in Div 2, only losing the league title on the last game of the season on goal difference. 2011/12 season saw us finish third in division 1 after a very tight season. 2012/13 was a below average season for the Gladbach with a mid table finish. Managed by Matt Court and Roscoe Easom then have assembled a side to challange the best that Sunday league has to offer, and have high hopes for 13/2014 in Div 1.
