Definitely one of our best performances in a while and we were very unfortunate not to come away with the win.

In possession -

Today’s game showcased some of the best football we've played in a while, featuring some excellent passing sequences of 3-4 completions that effectively broke through the Hurdsfield team's defence. It was brilliant to watch and exactly what we wanted to see.

Additionally, the boys' excellent off the ball movement created space and allowed us to move the ball more quickly and effectively.

Out of possession -

We excelled defensively all game today, especially in the last 15 minutes though. This is exactly the consistency we want to see every week. Our intense and quick press prevented the Hurdsfield defence from playing out from the back, allowing us to regain possession in dangerous areas. Our aggression was perfect in the final 15 minutes; everyone ensured they were first to the ball, which secured possession for our team.

? MOTM - Raff

Raff was excellent today. He got himself his first 2 goals of the season and also got himself a great assist. The energy in his press and the speed of his breaks were just what we needed from him today and he lead the charge when we were pushing for goals towards to the end of the game.

A massive well done to all the lads today for battling hard and competing right to the end, despite the horrible conditions.
