Wear United FC 6 vs 1 The Stumble Inn FC

United got their first 3 points of the season with a comfortable 6-1 victory over The Stumble Inn. 

The first half started with United in the ascendancy and we took the lead after 6 minutes. Dan Musther thought he was fouled in the box but he quickly got up, controlled the ball and placed it into the bottom corner of the net
It was 2-0 on 19 minutes when United man of the match Gary "Bobby Lad" Simmons crossed the ball to the back post and it was met with a beautiful volley by Andy "Son of Pele" Meikle.
1 minute later it was 3-0. Goalkeeper Steve Barnes launched the ball upfield and the Stumble Inn defender misjudged and headed into the path of Gary Simmons who took it round the keeper and placed the ball into the net. 
On 27 minutes it was 4-0 when Graham Smith played in Ryan Gordon and he finished expertly past the keeper
On 40 minutes it was 5-0 when another Steve Barnes kick this time was met by Ryan Gordon who played in Gary Simmons and he hammered it home for his second goal of the game

The second half was controlled mainly by The Stumble Inn and they got a deserved goal on 63 minutes when a mistake at the back allowed their striker in and he put the ball past the advancing Steve Barnes and it trickled over the line and in
United restored their 5 goal cushion in the last minute when Gary Simmons played the ball right to Andrew Hodgson who took a touch and beat the keeper with a powerful shot at the near post
