Pathetico Madrid 7 vs 6 Three Lions of Defence

A great game this evening against the favourites to win the division. We took a while to warm up, going 3-0 down, but two goals from Phil and a rocket from Matt brought us back to 3-3. They pegged us back again before goals from Jack and I put us ahead 5-4 at half time. The second half was tighter, with both sides closely matched. Pathetico had a good spell and went 7-5 up. The Three Lions piled the pressure on, but could only pull back to 7-6. In the last few minutes we had them firmly on the back foot but the equaliser eluded us.  

According to their captain, Pathetico were relegated from the Premiership because of forfeiting matches for no-shows. I just hope they turn up again next time so we can turn over the result.
