Pymore 4 vs 4 Thorncombe fc First team

Right a brief write up due to playing (trying) I tend to forget a lot!

Scorers

Harry had the first after a good bit of work by fish and john m, seen john m put a good ball through to harry, who with his back to goal spun and put it in to the bottom corner.

The second was a fish tap in after he followed up a tunny free kick.

Third was a fish pen, after harry got brought down.

Fourth was a typical john m smash shot/cross/thumper from deep inside the left flank.

Again the ratings are a bit general as when playing, I dont get to observe the game to well.

Macca sneaked ahead of fish, harry and john this week for the motm.

The game was hard as they arguably have the 2 best strikers that we face in our league, who constantly move and bring their wingers into play, so we found ourselves pulled all over the place, leaving gaps for them to exploit.
But regardless of this we all know that the goals they scored were gifted!

Overall it was a game that both teams fought hard and probably left feeling they should of won it!

Next week we face them again in the cup at home, and should have a few players returning, which will see us with a very strong squad.
