A long journey to Leeds on a wednesday afternoon for Oakhill to face the Leeds Student team under the new name. An edgy first half saw both teams create a few chances with Robert Selwyn drawing a few good saves from the Leeds keeper and Jack Shulman pulling off some fantastic saves in the Oakhill Half. Oakhill were not playing at the best but nonethless were able to take it 0-0 at Halft-time. A better start to second half saw Oakhill create a few more chances and some hard work from Eli Gottlieb kept up the pressure. But a long cross from the left finding its way past Shulman and onto the Leeds striker's shoulder/chest and into the back of the goal meant that Oakhill now had to fight for the win. ner from Joe Davis was headed on by the Leeds defender and Marc Maynard was able to head the ball over the line and it was 1-1 with 7 mins to go. Then some route-one stuff from Oakhill. A long kick from Jack Shulman bounced over the Leeds defence on with Maynard running on to it was able to head it over the Keeper and into the net. 3 minutes left and Oakhill look set for the win. But this led to a lapse in concentration and straight from the kick off the Leeds midfielder was able to dribble his way past the oakhill defence and find a cross that was tapped in for Leeds to draw level with no time left to play. A disappointed end to a fighting come back from Oakhill. But a point gained away from home.
