*** Parkfield 'A 0-6 Redsox ***

I think the score line says it all. We defended like Trojans & attacked with menace.

Masoud and Bobby both got 2 goals with Oisin and Filip also getting in on the act.

our 1st goal came in an impressive 1st period where Lner Controoled the game, we had shot after shot , corner after corner and it paid off when Masoud got on the end of a through ball from sultan to give us a well deserved lead,.

0-1 9min.

lner kept the pressure on and danny picked out bobby with a lofted pass for bobby to slot away from close range

0-2 11min.

in the second period lner were at it again and pressed parkfield into mistakes with their keeper pulling off a cracking save to deny oisin but Masoud cleared up the scraps with a slotted fininsh.

0-3 14min.

Half time 0-3

in the 3rd period i went 3-3 formation to ensure we wouldnt concede as we havent had a clean shhet in god knows how long, but it was almost a waste of time as PArkfield didnt get into our final 3rd, in the last period i went back to our usual 2-3-1, with parkfield now pressing us at the back, it created space for us up front , Sheil released the ball quickley with a big kick to which masoud flicked on with Oisin rounding collecting it and with work still to be done held of a challenge and placed it with power and accuracy across goal from just outside the area

0-4 43m.

just when i thought it could get any better Oisin worked down the left wing and layed off a short pass to Filip who whipped in a gorgeous shot up and over a packed parkfield box into the top right corner.

0-5 45min

in the final secocnds Lner wanted more and just as masoud nut megged the keeper for what he thought was his hat trick, But Bobby beat a parkfied defender to the ball and smashed it home from half a yard away to ensure Lner come away with there biggest win agaiasnt a quality Parkfield Team.

0-6 50m

Fulltime 0-6

It was nice to see us take advantage of a depleted Parkfield side, but I suppose every team in the league misses players during school holidays. Parkfield had no subs and it showed in the last period as lner ran riot. and finally got a clean sheet

Motm: Calum Boyer, a great all round display in defence today
