Avashays 3 vs 8 Hamilton FC Hamilton U14

Hamilton took to the field today with a full squad to face old foes Avayshays. A pulsating game from start to finish. Hamilton began by going 2v0 down inside 10 mins before they really started to believe in themselves. 

Avayshays started very fast and on 5 mins had a break away down the right flank cut in and incredibly lobbed Hammy GK Brock from a acute angle- sureley the GK was blinded from the sun?

Avayshays piled on the pressure and on 11 mins gained a corner -The ball was flighted over - Brock missed it - but there can`t be any danger as Brzstel is on the line - Incredibly, he turned it into his own net 2v0!

Incredibily Hammy could have scored 3 themselves at this point through Lindsay and Bryztel missing easy chances.

Hamilton heads went down and trudged back to the center circle.

From the kick off Hammy attacked and gained a corner - Joint MOTM Barrance floated a great ball over and from 8 yds joint MOTM Goscik connected with his head and sent a rocket of a header into the top corner - What a goal 2v1.

Hammy chased and all of a sudden looked the better side.

On 18 mins Goscik played a delightful through ball into the path of Barrance who blasted a great shot past the keeper -all square 2v2.

19 mins Hammy chase the ball from the keeper. The impressive Jessy Wright wins it in midfield and set a great through ball to Barrance who lobs the keeper 3v2

22 mins Barrance goes on a fantastic run - ivades a nasty challenge only for the lad to continue his chase and completely take him out on the second attempt. Up steps Lindsay to take the penalty. Lindsay assured, strikes the ball to the keepers left Goal 4v2

What a turn around. Now its Avayshays turn to look dejected.

Half time looming Wright wins the ball in the middle of the pitch and strides forward -Boom - strikes it from 20 yds - No stopping that  5v2

Some impressive displays in the half - Ronan at right back looked ultra comfortable and seems to be getting better with every game . Gabriel Harvey back at left back after holiday - looked like the missing link Hammy have missed so far in previous games. 

Kieren Brock in goal except for the 2 goals had nothing to do at all.

Half time saw Napper, Bloomfield, Nicholls enter the game.

53 mins after a goalmouth scramble Napper scores

60 mins Hammy in total control,  Avayshays get a break away and lob the keeper  6v3

60mins McGonigal and Sellman enter the game 

66 mins Another goalmouth scramble were Hammy hit the crossbar,post , 3 bodies on the line until Napper smacks it into the roof of the net 7v3

68 mins Sellman picks up the ball outside his own box and strides forward 20yds before sending a great ball down the wing for Barrance to run onto - beats 2 men  to gice 1 on 1 with the keeper - only 1 outcome. Goal 8v3 

What a game. Hamilton deserved the win
