The Women's National Premier League (WNPL) is the highest level of women's football in Australia. It is a nationwide competition with teams from all states and territories.
The WNPL was founded in 2008 and has been growing in popularity ever since. The 2022-23 season featured 14 teams, with each team playing each other twice. The top two teams at the end of the regular season played in a grand final to decide the champions.
The WNPL is a great opportunity for women to play top-level football. The competition is highly competitive and the standard of play is very high. The WNPL also provides a pathway for players to progress to the Westfield W-League, which is the top professional women's football league in Australia.
