About Welsh Premier Academy League
Read more →The Welsh Premier Academy League is a football league for the youth academies of clubs in the Cymru Premier League. It was founded in 2012 and is currently sponsored by the FAW Trust.
The Welsh Premier Academy League was founded in 2012 as a way to provide more competitive opportunities for young players in Wales. The league is divided into two divisions, North and South, with each division consisting of 10 teams. The top two teams in each division at the end of the season are promoted to the Premier League, while the bottom two teams are relegated to the Development League.
The league has been won by The New Saints a record 10 times, followed by Bangor City with 3 titles.
