Adult football in Warrington
The Warrington & District Football League provides adult football for clubs in Warrington and the surrounding district. Affiliated to Liverpool County FA, it combines open-age and veterans competition and now provides adult football on both Saturdays and Sundays following the merger with the Warrington Sunday League.

The league has served adult clubs for more than a century. Its structure includes open-age divisions and veterans football, allowing teams to choose a competition aligned with their playing day and player group.
Saturday, Sunday and veterans sections
Saturday and Sunday football are both part of the league’s current adult offer, while the veterans section provides a distinct route for older players. This is one organisation with separate competition provision, rather than a youth league.
