Wanganui Mens Local League
The Wanganui Mens Local League is an amateur football league in Wanganui, New Zealand. It is run by Central Football, the regional governing body for football in the region.
The league consists of two divisions, the Premier League and the Division 1. The Premier League is the top division and is contested by the best teams in the region. The Division 1 is the second division and is contested by the teams that did not qualify for the Premier League.
The season runs from March to September. Each team plays each other team in their division once, home and away. The top two teams in the Premier League at the end of the season are promoted to the Central League, the top regional league in New Zealand. The bottom two teams in the Premier League are relegated to the Division 1.
The winners of the Premier League are crowned champions of Wanganui. The winners of the Division 1 are promoted to the Premier League.
