The VOORJAAR league is known for its competitive and exciting matches. The league also has a strong focus on youth development, and many former VOORJAAR players have gone on to play professional football.
The VOORJAAR league was founded in 1972 by a group of amateur football clubs in the Netherlands. The league was originally called the "Voorjaarscompetitie", but the name was changed to VOORJAAR in 1975.
