The Trelawney Amateur Football League is an amateur football league based in Trelawney, Cornwall, England. It was founded in 1905 and currently has 12 teams competing in two divisions. The league is affiliated to the Cornwall Football Association.
The Trelawney Amateur Football League was founded in 1905 by a group of local footballers. The league initially had just six teams, but it has grown steadily over the years and now has 12 teams. The league has been won by a variety of teams, with no one team dominating.
The league has been suspended on a number of occasions due to war and other factors. However, it has always been revived and continues to be a popular competition for amateur footballers in Trelawney.
The Trelawney Amateur Football League currently has two divisions: the Premier Division and the Division One. The Premier Division is the top division and is contested by the best teams in the league. The Division One is the second division and is contested by the teams that are not good enough to play in the Premier Division.
The teams in each division play each other twice, once at home and once away. The top teams in each division at the end of the season are promoted to the next division, while the bottom teams are relegated to the next division.
The Trelawney Amateur Football League also organises a number of cup competitions. The most important cup competition is the Trelawney Cup, which is contested by all the teams in the league. The other cup competitions include the Trelawney Charity Cup and the Trelawney Challenge Cup.
