About the TJFA

The Teesside Junior Football Alliance League (TJFA) is an amateur football league for boys and girls aged 5-16 in the Teesside area of North East England.

The TJFA was founded in 1972 and is affiliated to the Durham Football Association. It currently has over 200 clubs and 5,000 players registered.

The TJFA operates a league structure for each age group, from Under-5s to Under-16s. The leagues are divided into divisions, with promotion and relegation between divisions each season.

The TJFA also runs a number of cup competitions, including the TJFA Challenge Cup and the TJFA Junior Shield.

The TJFA is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable environment for all players. It has a code of conduct for all clubs and players, and it works closely with the police and other agencies to prevent and tackle child abuse.
