Timperley & District U11 Red League

The Timperley & District U11 Red League is an amateur football league for boys and girls aged 10-11 years old. The league is based in the Timperley area of Greater Manchester, England.

The league was founded in 1999 and currently has over 40 teams competing in it. The teams are divided into two divisions, the Red Division and the Blue Division. The season runs from September to April, with each team playing each other team in their division twice. The top two teams in each division at the end of the season are promoted to the next division, while the bottom two teams are relegated to the lower division.

The league is affiliated with the Football Association (FA) and adheres to its rules and regulations. The league also has its own set of rules, which are designed to promote fair play and sportsmanship.

Rules

Matches are played on 3G pitches.
Each team must have a minimum of 7 players and a maximum of 11 players on the field at any one time.
Matches are played over two halves of 25 minutes each.
There is no offside rule.
Goalkeepers are not allowed to pick up the ball with their hands inside the penalty area.
There is no red card rule. A player who commits a serious foul is given a yellow card and sent off for the rest of the match.
