Thurrock Sunday League

Introduction

The Thurrock Sunday League is an amateur football league based in Thurrock, Essex, England. It was founded in 1921 and currently consists of 5 divisions, with a total of over 100 teams.

The league is affiliated to the Thurrock & District Football Association and is recognised by the Football Association. It is one of the largest Sunday leagues in Essex.

The league season runs from September to May, with each team playing 20 matches. The top teams in each division are promoted to the next division, while the bottom teams are relegated.

The league cup competition is the Thurrock Sunday Challenge Cup. It is a knockout competition open to all teams in the league.
