About The Volo

The Volo is an amateur football league based in New York City. It was founded in 1975 and currently has over 100 teams competing in a variety of divisions.

The league is open to players of all skill levels, and there are no tryouts required. Teams are formed through a draft process, and each team plays a 10-game regular season. The top teams in each division then compete in the playoffs.

The Volo is a great way to get involved in the local football community and meet new people. It is also a lot of fun to play competitive football without the pressure of being on a professional team.

Divisions

• Premier Division: This is the top division in the league. It is for teams that are made up of experienced players.
• Division 1: This is the second-tier division in the league. It is for teams that are made up of players with some experience.
• Division 2: This is the third-tier division in the league. It is for teams that are made up of players with little or no experience.
• Women's Division: This division is for women's teams.

Rules

The Volo follows the rules of the United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA). The full set of rules can be found on the USASA website.
