The league is affiliated to the Leicestershire & Rutland County FA. The top division of the league, the Premier Division, is currently sponsored by Anstey Sports Bar.

History

The Leicester Sunday Football League was founded in 1921 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The league initially consisted of just 8 teams, but it has since grown to become one of the largest amateur football leagues in the country.

The league has been sponsored by a number of different businesses over the years. The current sponsor is Anstey Sports Bar, who have been sponsoring the league since 2021.
