About The League Of 2
Read more →The League Of 2 is an amateur football league in the Netherlands. It is the second highest amateur league in the country, below the Tweede Divisie. The league was founded in 2016, and currently consists of 36 teams divided into two divisions, each containing 18 teams.
The teams in The League Of 2 are all amateur clubs, and the majority of the players are not professional footballers. The league is played on a Saturday afternoon, and the season runs from September to April.
The top two teams in each division at the end of the season are promoted to the Tweede Divisie, while the bottom two teams in each division are relegated to the Derde Divisie.
