Read more →The Stratford-upon-Avon Football Alliance (SAFA) is an amateur football league based in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, England. It is affiliated to the Birmingham County FA.
The SAFA was founded in 1974 and currently has two divisions, the Aquaid Division 1 and the Walls & Ceilings Division 2. There are approximately 20 teams in the league, playing each other twice in a season.
The SAFA season runs from September to April, with the playoffs taking place in May. The winners of the Aquaid Division 1 are promoted to the Warwickshire County League, while the bottom two teams are relegated to the Walls & Ceilings Division 2.
