Southend Sunday League Division 1

The Southend Sunday League Division 1 is an amateur football league in the Southend area of Essex, England. It is the second tier of the Southend Sunday League, below the Premier Division.

The league was founded in 1972 and currently consists of 16 teams. The teams play each other twice, once at home and once away, with the top two teams at the end of the season being promoted to the Premier Division. The bottom two teams are relegated to Division 2.

2022-23 Season

The 2022-23 season is currently underway. The current champions are South Benfleet United, who won the title in 2021-22. The other teams in the league this season are:
