About Southend Junior League
Read more →The Southend Junior League is an amateur football league for junior players in the Southend area. It was founded in 1921 and currently has over 200 teams competing in a variety of age groups.
The Southend Junior League is divided into a number of divisions, based on the age of the players. The youngest age group is Under-7s, and the oldest is Under-18s. There are also a number of girls' divisions.
Each team plays a minimum of 12 games per season, with the top teams in each division qualifying for promotion and the bottom teams facing relegation.
