South Devon Football League
The South Devon Football League (SDFL) is an amateur football league based in England. Its top division, the Premier Division, sits outside of the English football league system although it is a feeder to the Devon Football League which sits at Step 11 of this system.
The league was founded in 1902 and currently has 59 teams competing in five divisions. The Premier Division has 12 teams, Division One has 12 teams, Division Two has 11 teams, Division Three has 12 teams, and Division Four has 12 teams.
The league's primary cup competition is the Herald Cup. It is a simple knockout competition featuring all SDFL clubs (highest placed teams only).
