The Sol Plaatjie Development Associations (SPDA) is an amateur football league based in the City of Johannesburg, South Africa. It was founded in 1998 to provide a platform for local footballers to develop their skills and compete at a high level.

The SPDA currently has over 100 teams competing in various divisions, from the Premier League to the Promotional League. The league's headquarters are located in the suburb of Eldorado Park.

The SPDA was founded in 1998 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The league's first chairman was Mr. Simon Ndlovu.
