The Sheffield Amateur Football League (SAFL) is an amateur football league in Sheffield, England. It was founded in 1867 and is one of the oldest amateur football leagues in the world. The league currently has over 100 clubs competing in a variety of divisions.

The SAFL was founded in 1867 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The first season of the league consisted of just four teams, but it quickly grew in popularity. By the early 1900s, the league had over 50 clubs. The SAFL has continued to grow and develop over the years and is now one of the largest amateur football leagues in England.

The SAFL currently has over 100 clubs competing in a variety of divisions. The top division is the Premier Division, which is followed by the First Division, Second Division, and Third Division. There are also a number of cup competitions, including the League Cup, the Challenge Cup, and the Floodlit Cup.
