The Saturday Family Division 5 was founded in 1978. The league was originally started by a group of friends who wanted to play football together on the weekends. The league has grown over the years and now has over 100 teams.
The Saturday Family Division 5 follows the rules of the American Football Association. The league has a few additional rules, such as a maximum of 12 players per team and a minimum age of 18.
