Read more →The Sandwell Premier & District Football League is an amateur football league in the Sandwell borough of the West Midlands, England. It was founded in 1967 and currently consists of four divisions: Premier, Premier 1, District 1, and District 2.
The league is affiliated to the Birmingham County Football Association and is a feeder league to the Midland Football League. The Premier Division champions are promoted to the Midland League Division 2, while the bottom four teams in the Premier Division are relegated to the Premier 1 Division.
The Sandwell Premier & District Football League was founded in 1967 by a merger of the Sandwell District Football League and the Sandwell Premier Football League. The inaugural season of the league saw 16 teams compete in the Premier Division.
