Read more →The Salford District Soccer League (SDFL) is an amateur football league in the Greater Manchester area of England. It was founded in 1920 and currently has over 100 teams competing in a variety of divisions, from under-7s to adults.
The SDFL is affiliated to the Football Association (FA) and is a member of the North West Counties Football League. This means that its teams are eligible to compete in the FA Cup and FA Vase.
The SDFL was founded in 1920 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The first season saw just 10 teams competing, but the league has grown steadily over the years and now has over 100 teams.
