Russell Foster Youth League

The Russell Foster Youth League (RFYL) is an amateur football league for boys and girls aged 7-18 in County Durham, England.

The league was founded in 1974 and currently has over 100 clubs affiliated to it. The season runs from September to May, with each team playing 18 games.

The RFYL is divided into three divisions: Premier Division, Division One, and Division Two. The top two teams in each division are promoted at the end of the season, while the bottom two teams are relegated.

The RFYL also runs a number of cup competitions, including the Russell Foster Cup, the Durham County FA Youth Cup, and the FA Vase.
