The Public Amateur Football League (PAFL) is an amateur football league in Ireland. It was founded in 1972 and is based in Dublin. The PAFL currently has over 100 clubs and 2,000 players.

The PAFL was founded in 1972 by a group of amateur footballers who were looking for a more competitive league than the existing leagues in Ireland. The league started with just 10 clubs and has grown steadily over the years. The PAFL currently has over 100 clubs and 2,000 players.

The PAFL is divided into three divisions: Division 1, Division 2, and Division 3. The top four teams from each division at the end of the season qualify for the promotion playoffs. The bottom four teams from each division are relegated to the next lower division.
