Northumberland Over 35's Flexi Football League

The Northumberland Over 35's Flexi Football League is an amateur football league for men over the age of 35 in Northumberland, England.

The league was founded in 2019 by the Northumberland Football Association (FA) to provide a more flexible and inclusive football experience for players who may not be able to commit to the traditional weekend fixtures.

How it works

The league is played on a Friday evening at the Benfield Sports Centre in Newcastle upon Tyne. Games are 90 minutes long and consist of two 45-minute halves.

There are no set teams in the league, and players can turn up and play for any team that needs players. This makes it a great way to meet new people and get some exercise.

The league is also very flexible, with players able to drop in and out of games as they need to. This makes it a great option for players with busy schedules.

Cost

The cost to play in the league is £20 per season. This includes a match fee for each game, as well as insurance.
