The North East Sunday League is an amateur football league based in the North East of England. It is affiliated to the Northumberland Football Association and is recognized at various levels by the FA.

The North East Sunday League was founded in 1921. The inaugural season featured 12 teams, all from the Newcastle upon Tyne area. The league has since expanded to include teams from across the North East, with the current season featuring over 100 teams.

The North East Sunday League is divided into 10 divisions, each of which contains 10 teams. The top two teams in each division are promoted to the division above, while the bottom two teams are relegated to the division below.
