Introduction

The New League is an amateur football league in the Netherlands. It is the fourth tier of Dutch football, below the Eredivisie, Eerste Divisie, and Tweede Divisie.

The league was founded in 2023 as a replacement for the Topklasse, which was the third tier of Dutch football at the time. The New League is divided into two divisions, with 16 teams in each division.

The top two teams in each division at the end of the season are promoted to the Tweede Divisie, while the bottom two teams in each division are relegated to the Derde Divisie.
