The London & Kent Suburban Football League was founded in 1904. The first season consisted of 12 clubs, all of which were based in Kent. The league expanded over the years, and by the 1920s it had over 40 clubs. The league continued to grow in the following decades, and it currently has 80 clubs.

The 2022-23 season is currently underway. The Senior Division is being led by Baldon Sports FC, while Division One is being led by Brockley FC. Division Two is being led by Chimaira FC.
