Liga 5 Romania

Liga 5 Romania is the fifth level of the Romanian football league system. It is organized by the county associations in each of Romania's 42 counties. Each team plays in their own county, and the number of teams in each division varies from county to county.

Current format

The current format of Liga 5 Romania was introduced in the 2017-18 season. The season runs from August to May, with each team playing each other team in their division twice, once at home and once away. The top two teams in each division are promoted to Liga 4 Romania, while the bottom two teams are relegated to Liga 6 Romania.

There are over 400 teams competing in Liga 5 Romania each season. Some of the more well-known teams in the league include:
