About Level League

Introduction

The Level League is an amateur football league in the United Kingdom. It was founded in 2018 and is currently in its fifth season. The league is open to all players aged 16 and over, regardless of their level of experience.

Structure

The Level League is divided into three divisions:

  • Level 1
  • Level 2
  • Level 3
Each division consists of 12 teams. The teams play each other once in a round-robin format. The top two teams in each division at the end of the season are promoted to the next level, while the bottom two teams are relegated to the next level.

Rules

The Level League follows the standard rules of football. However, there are a few additional rules that apply to the league:

  • There is no offside rule.
  • The game is played with a smaller ball.
  • There are no substitutions.
These rules are designed to make the game more accessible to players of all abilities.

Venues

The Level League games are played at a variety of venues across the United Kingdom. The venues are chosen based on their availability and suitability for football.

Cost

The cost of playing in the Level League varies depending on the division. The cost for Level 1 is £100 per team per season, Level 2 is £75 per team per season, and Level 3 is £50 per team per season.
