The Leicester And District Under 12's Football League is a youth football league in the Leicestershire area. It was founded in 1972 and currently has over 100 teams competing in its various divisions.

History

The league was founded in 1972 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The original intention was to provide a competitive environment for young players in the Leicester area. The league has grown steadily over the years and now has over 100 teams competing in its various divisions.

The league is affiliated to the Leicestershire County Football Association and follows its rules and regulations. The league also has its own set of rules, which are designed to promote fair play and sportsmanship.

Divisions

The league is divided into four divisions:

  • Under 12 Division 1
  • Under 12 Division 2
  • Under 12 Division 3
  • Under 12 Division 4

The teams are ranked on a points system, with the top teams at the end of the season being promoted to the next division. The bottom teams are relegated to the lower division.

Cup competitions

The league also runs a number of cup competitions, including:
