2011/2012 - 1 Teams across 1 Divisions
The Leeds Red Triangle League was an amateur football league in West Yorkshire, England. It was founded in 1920 and disbanded in 2014.
The league was originally formed with just three teams, but it grew rapidly in its early years. By 1921, it had over 100 teams and had as many as eight divisions. The league was known for its competitive and close-fought games. It also produced some talented players who went on to play professional football, including Farsley Celtic and Yorkshire Amateur.
The league began to decline in the 1990s. This was due to a number of factors, including the rise of Sunday football, clubs moving to a higher level, a lack of grounds and facilities, and rising costs.
