Read more →The League Of Lions is an amateur football league based in the United Kingdom. It was founded in 1975 and currently has over 100 teams competing in a variety of divisions.
The league is open to all players, regardless of age, ability or experience. Matches are played on Sunday mornings, with most teams playing in their local area.
The League Of Lions was founded in 1975 by a group of friends who wanted to create a more relaxed and enjoyable football experience than the traditional league system. The league was originally called the Sunday League of Lions, but the name was changed to the League Of Lions in 2000.
