Langbaurgh League

The Manjaros Langbaurgh League is an amateur football league based in Middlesbrough and Redcar & Cleveland, England. It is affiliated to the North Riding County FA.

History

The league was founded in 1920 as the Langbaurgh & District League. It was renamed the Manjaros Langbaurgh League in 2017 after being sponsored by Manjaros, a local pub chain.

Structure

The league has two divisions: the Premier Division and Division One. The Premier Division has 12 teams, while Division One has 11 teams.

The season runs from September to May, with each team playing each other twice. The top two teams in the Premier Division are promoted to the Teesside League, while the bottom two teams are relegated to Division One. The top two teams in Division One are promoted to the Premier Division, while the bottom two teams are relegated to the Teesside League Division Two.

Recent seasons

  • In the 2021-22 season, Eston Villa FC won the Premier Division title, while Grangetown Boys Club FC won Division One.
  • In the 2020-21 season, Brotton FC won the Premier Division title, while Marton Cricket Club FC won Division One.
  • In the 2019-20 season, the season was abandoned due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
