Introduction

The Keybury League is an amateur football league based in the Aire, Wharfe and Craven valleys of West Yorkshire, England. It was founded in 1972 and currently has over 70 teams playing in its various divisions.

The league is affiliated to the West Riding County FA and is a FA Charter Standard league, which means that it meets certain standards of quality and safety.

The Keybury League is open to both boys and girls aged 6 to 16 years old. There are divisions for all age groups, from Under-7s to Under-16s.

The league also offers a number of other competitions, including a cup competition and a penalty shootout competition.

History

The Keybury League was founded in 1972 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The league was originally called the Keybury Youth Football League, but it was renamed the Bradford & District Keybury Junior Football League in 2014.

The league has grown steadily over the years and now has over 70 teams playing in its various divisions. The league is currently sponsored by Keybury Fire and Security.

Recent Accomplishments

  • The Keybury League was awarded the FA Charter Standard in 2015.
  • The league's Under-11s team won the West Riding County FA Cup in 2022.
  • The league's Under-13s team won the Bradford & District Junior League Cup in 2023.
