Ipswich & Suffolk Youth Football League
The Ipswich & Suffolk Youth Football League (ISYFL) is an amateur football league for youth players in the county of Suffolk, England. It is affiliated with the Suffolk FA.
History
The ISYFL was founded in 1969. It currently has over 200 teams playing in a variety of age groups, from Under-7s to Under-18s.
League Structure
The ISYFL is divided into a number of divisions, based on age and ability. The top division is the Premier Division, followed by Division One, Division Two, and so on.
There is also a cup competition, the ISYFL Cup, which is open to all teams in the league.
Season
The ISYFL season runs from September to May. Each team plays a number of matches against other teams in their division. The top teams in each division are promoted to the next division, while the bottom teams are relegated to the lower division.
