The Internet Football Association (IFA) is an organisation which runs football competitions for supporters' teams across the United Kingdom.
Its flagship competition is the IFA League, which is a league of 12 teams, each representing a different football club. The other competitions run by the IFA are the British Cup, WorldNET, and BigTamVets.
The IFA was founded in 1996 by a group of football fans who wanted to create a way for supporters' teams to play each other. The first season of the IFA League was played in 1997, and the British Cup was introduced in 1998.
The IFA has grown steadily over the years, and now has over 100 teams affiliated to it. The IFA League is now one of the most competitive amateur football leagues in the UK.
The IFA has a set of rules that all teams must adhere to. These rules cover matters such as eligibility, player registration, and match conduct.
The full set of IFA rules can be found on the IFA website.
The IFA is committed to promoting the spirit of the game. This means that all teams are expected to play fair and to respect each other.
The IFA has a code of conduct that all teams must agree to abide by. This code of conduct sets out the expectations of the IFA in terms of fair play and respect.
