Read more →The Hexham & District Sunday League is an amateur football league in Northumberland, England. It was founded in 1923 and currently has over 100 teams competing in two divisions. The league is affiliated to the Northumberland Football Association.
The Hexham & District Sunday League was founded in 1923 by a group of local football enthusiasts. The first season saw just six teams competing, but the league has grown steadily over the years and now has over 100 teams.
The league has been sponsored by a number of different companies over the years, and the current sponsors are ESI Ltd and The PHOENIX.
